The Discipleship Inventory + Planner

Build a plan to train for life with Jesus.

A ten-minute Inventory helps you see where you’re growing and where the Spirit may be inviting you next. Your Planner turns that into a plan you can live.

Your code is printed inside your Planner, or ask your church. Don’t have a code?

Whole-life discipleship

Grow in every direction.

Most of us grow where it comes naturally and quietly drift everywhere else. The Inventory looks at all three pathways, so you see the whole picture and take your next step where it matters most.

Presence

Your life with God: prayer, Scripture, worship, rest, honesty about sin.

“I am the vine; you are the branches.” — John 15:5

Community

Your life with the Church: friendship, accountability, intercession, forgiveness, investing in others.

“Let us watch out for one another to provoke love and good works.” — Hebrews 10:24

Mission

Your life toward the world: evangelism, generosity, mercy, vocation.

“As the Father has sent me, I also send you.” — John 20:21

A rhythm you can return to every year.

Two pieces work together. The Discipleship Inventory is a short online assessment you take right here at DiscipleshipPlan.com. The Discipleship Planner is a printed book where you pray through your results and write your plan.

  1. Online

    Take the Inventory online

Twenty-one statements across the three pathways, right here on your phone or computer. About ten minutes. Every good plan starts with knowing where you’re starting from.

  2. In your Planner

    Pray through it

Copy your scores into your printed Planner, and ask God where he’s inviting you to invest in this season.

  3. In your Planner

    Write and share your plan

Choose a few practices in your Planner, then share your plan with someone who will pray for you and walk with you.

  4. In your Planner

    Check in and adjust

Some plans run thirty days, others much longer. Update your Planner as you go, and retake the Inventory online each year.

Then begin again. Each year a fresh Inventory shows how you’ve grown and helps you explore where the Spirit may be leading next.

Privacy

Your answers stay yours.

Your church sees anonymous totals only, never who said what. When you finish, you decide where your results go: email them to yourself, or copy them into your Planner by hand.
